The basic unit of human society is one human. Yes, society is created from population of large number of human units.
These human units, in order to exist, they carry with them basic attributes for survival. Basic necessities for existence that we call these needs biological. These needs represent great importance for the survival of one human being. If these necessities are lost or nowhere to be found, after particular time the human unit stops to exist.
